Local Origins: Kite Doctors (formerly known as Arts aan Zee) originated in Bergen aan Zee, and this will be our 8th edition in this beautiful location. The organizers are from the region, which means we know the local partners well and can guide you to special spots, making this event feel like a 'home game.'

Kitesurf School and Beach Bar: We have our own kitesurf school and a dedicated beach tent reserved for our event days. This setup provides a unique and personalized experience, allowing participants to enjoy great facilities, services and sun set.

Stunning Coastal Location: Nestled by the North Sea, Bergen aan Zee offers breathtaking views and ideal conditions for kitesurfing. Our collaboration with local partners ensures access to the best kitesurfing spots, including hidden gems. The area also boasts beautiful dunes perfect for jogging and mountain biking, with optional yoga sessions available.

Community and Networking: With group sizes ranging from 25 to 45 participants, our courses provide the perfect setting for interaction, networking, and building a sense of community. This intimate atmosphere fosters lasting friendships and professional connections.

Participation Details

Who Can Attend: Our courses are open to (international) medical specialists and general practitioners of all ages, from young doctors just starting their careers to retired physicians. The gender balance is approximately equal, creating an inclusive environment for all.

Solo or With a Colleague: Many participants attend alone and find it to be a rewarding experience. However, bringing a colleague is encouraged, as sharing a hotel room can offer a discounted rate, making the experience more affordable.

Language of the Course: the conference will be conducted in English, unless there are no international doctors participating, in which case we will conduct the language in Dutch.

Sport Options: Kite, surf, and wing activities are available for all skill levels, with kite lessons offered on a limited basis. Please note that kite material rental is not available.
